'Bringing your health back into balance using a holistic and tailored approach'
With BETH RAVEN DipCNM
My name is Beth and I am the Nutritional Therapist behind Positive Plate Nutrition. I am based in Somerset, UK but work remotely with people across the UK and Europe. I studied at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bristol for 3 years and graduated in 2018. Prior to this I gained a Geography degree and worked in schools in the hope of becoming a Teacher. After personal health struggles this was no longer an option, but these challenges became the passion and driving force behind Positive Plate Nutrition.
After years of struggling with numerous health issues including chronic eczema, asthma, digestive issues and many other symptoms I felt the conventional doctors could no longer offer me the support I needed. I became my own health detective and developed a keen interest in food and its connection to my health. It felt like the right step to pursue my passion further and retrain as a Nutritional Therapist so I could share what I had learned to help others.
Every person is unique, so why should the health advice we follow be any different? In a 1-2-1 appointment we go through a comprehensive case history so I can get to know all about you, your symptoms and your health goals. I work in collaboration with you to come up with a nutrition, lifestyle and supplement plan which perfectly suits your needs. I support you so that you can find the best ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercise into your lifestyle.
I have written articles for national magazines including Gluten Free Heaven, Vegan Food and Living and Thrive Magazine. I enjoy writing informative articles on a range of topics including plant based nutrition, gluten free diet, coeliac disease, stress management and much more. Please get in touch if you'd like me to write for your magazine or website. I have linked some of my previous articles in my 'Nutrition Blog' section.
